Hi All,I am visiting Fife next month for a week staying in The East Neuk area. Does anyone have any recommendations of places to see or visit? TIA

You get a decent view of the town from St. Rule's tower in St. Andrews.
Worth a wander along the West Sands whilst in town too. A round on the himalayas is a laugh as well.
Anstruther for fish n chips. Pittenweem is a nice wee town an all.

Watch out for scamera vans on the A91 and 92.

Most of the East Neuk is lovely for tootling around - I esp like St Monans. Eating out at Peat Inn is highly recommended http://www.thepeatinn.co.uk/information-centre/ind...

They do have a somewhat more famous economist from Kirkcaldy you know..

Pittenweem's chip shop is much better....although closed on a Monday due to no fishing.

And there is also a little fish stall at the harbour....dressed lobster type thing. Not my choice....I hate fish

If you head towards Dundee, Tentsmuir beach is worth a visit too...Beach meets forest (my fav place at the mo) Although St Andrews beach is more famous after it was used in a movie. Just be aware of the sand buggies, and kites.
