We're a well travelled bunch. (Well, I am; I went to Margate for me summer hols last year!)

There are always lots of threads about where we're about to go, or where we'd like to go, but how about a thread where people write a little about somewhere special that they've already been. A honeymoon, a romantic weekend away (you can leave out the more lurid details if you want to!), or just some incredible place you've been. Say a little about the place, what you did, what the hotel was like. That sort of thing. It might give others some inspiration for their next holiday.

Is that a plan? Or shall I shut up? tongue out

It's not a bad idea, my mate runs this own travel blog thing and there are sites like FlyerTalk that cater for just that sort of thing.

No harm in some interesting reports appearing on PH though.

After all the chat about Kefalonia it would be rude of me not to post anything of my impending trip. I'll try and write up a short review with some pics when I get back. From a driving point of view I hope to describe what the combination of a 900cc cincequento (or equivalent grp A hire car I'me getting) and lots of hilly hairpins is like!

I appreciate there are lots of travel forums out there, axe. Just think it would be nice to have something "in house" so that people can use here as a starting point and don't have to go searching the worldwidewebosphere for it (unless of course it's not on here!).
