Eurotunnel question
Discussion
I'm booking a Eurotunnel ticket but am a bit worried about travelling in rush hour and missing the train.
On the website, it says "whilst only valid for the booked departure time we will, at no extra charge, transfer you to a space on the next available shuttle if you arrive at Check-In within 2 hours of your booked departure time".
Does anyone know whether this works if you are late and miss your train, or whether it is just when you are early?
Any help much appreciated.

I booked a train to France and got stuck in massive traffic on the way down.
Arrived 30 mins late. No problem - the next train was full but they bumped us on the following one with no hassle.
Same on the way back but I was early. Arrived 2 hours early at Calais - no problem, straight on the first train.
They're very accomodating, but beware - if all the trains are packed (such as on a bank holiday weekend) then you may have a long wait for the next space if you're late!
