Hi Guys, has anyone skied this resort please.

I am a beginer (skied twice) thinking of taking wife and 7 year old.

Have only skied Meribel before.

Thanks

Never heard of it, which doesn't bode well.

A quick google says it's at 1000m so it'll be a schlep up to the slopes each day and it looks pretty small. And despite the Alps having the best year for ages there's not much snow there at the moment.

Doesn't look like a resort as such, it's a major city. So a bus ride to the slopes I guess.

It's not Meribel.

Louis Chevrolet was born in La Chaux de Fonds... It's a nice town but it's not a well known skiing resort. If you're considering Switzerland, have a look at the resorts in the Bernese Oberland.

The Valais region is very good too.
