Any suggestions for car parking at Heathrow terminal 3 please. Im not too worried about leaving the keys if needed as parking works out so expensive at the airport. Train isn't possible as appears that I'd need to go into London first to get to Heathrow.

Maple parking are decent, especially if you have a non ULEZ car as it avoids the ULEZ zone. I've also booked a space via Justpark at the Marriott Hotel on the nearby Bath Rd and used v.frequent local buses to LHR (bus stop 2 mins away). We had big suitcases and it was fine as such a short journey.

Where are you coming from? There's often a way in on public transport avoiding coming into London, but not always.

Purple parking or LHR own long stay, just look online on LHR site for the lowest cost. APH parking is off airport but close enough and you can pay with clubcard points!!!

If there is only 2 of you National Express is usually so cheap and convenient certainly from Winchester last time I used it was half the cost of parking for 2 of us.

National Express run direct services from both Southampton & Portsmouth to Heathrow, Flixbus run a service from Southampton. Or as said, train to Woking and Railair coach.

I go from Heathrow to Southampton every few months as always do Railair to Woking and then the train.
