You can also look at the historical average which is 22c for end of April.

If you're wedded to a beach then the Canaries. if you're OK with alternatives, Seville, Granada and Cordoba will be warm enough in April.

This. Granada can be +10 degrees (or -10 in winter) difference from the coast.

Colleague just back from a long weekend in Torremelinos. She said it was warm and sunny most days, low 20's - even managed to sunburn her nose. Depends on whether you feel lucky....

We’ve just booked Majorca for Easter ourselves. Like you we’ve done the Canaries quite a lot over recent years, both at Easter and in the summer when the kids are off. The Canaries are definitely the safer bet if you want guaranteed heat. We went to Fuerteventura last April nice weather but the supposedly heated pool was bracing to say the least! You've not but assume you want fly and flop rather than sightseeing?

This year we’re going early April so we’re planning more days out rather than sitting by the pool. If we get high teens or low 20s that will feel like a bonus. Honestly we’ll just take some sunshine.

My dad lived on mainland Spain for years and I’ve been at different times of year. By the end of April it’s definitely starting to warm up but it’s often more about enjoying sunny terraces and wandering around rather than proper sunbathing weather. Still lovely though.
