Just booked a week in vilamora for middle of September, looking for recommendations on what to do and where to eat?

Open to anything - just 2 adults

If you want a special meal, I can highly recommend Gusto at the Conrad just outside of Vilamora, the tasting menu is fantastic.

Vilamoura Marina;

- Rare (Steakhouse)
- Il Lamparo (Italian/European)

If you fancy venturing slightly further afield (20 minutes ago taxi), I’d highly recommend a couple of restaurants in Wuinra Do lLago;

- Bood Octopus (Fish), stunning setting
- Umami (Sushi)

Am sure there are loads of others, but these are my ‘ go to’ restaurants.

I could really recommend this place that was about a 30 minute walk from the Hilton, so from the Marina about an hours walk or a short taxi ride.

Probably some of the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten. Try the Tomato Rice.

Just ate last week at the Bold Octopus and watched the sun set, a mate had booked it for his 50th. Amazing…

With the restaurants, beaches and close proximity to the airport is it any wonder why house prices in the Central Algarve are so high.

Been to “Braganca Mar” a few times, like it there.
Over the years have eaten out at most on the strip by the Marina, tend to be a bit overpriced TBH and the food is not always that good. Rushed service at peak times.
We usually have a car there so venture inland a bit more.
Vilamoura seems to have gone downhill a bit, been there numerous times over the years.
Most recent trip had more hassle on the short walk from the carpark.
