So, StevieBee has gone and got himself a nice project in Barbados which will require three trips over the next 18 months or so. Shame, I know.
Never been before so I'd be very grateful for any heads- up on anything worth doing, seeing and avoiding.
Also, this is a government project so not too abundant on the travel allowance so looking at Air B&Bs rather than the fancy pants resorts so any recommendations for a solo traveller on this would be welcome.

It's one of 3 holiday apartments in what looks from the outside like an ordinary house in a quiet residential area with a swimming pool in the back garden. The owners don't live onsite but visited regularly (daily) when we were there.
