Hi there all, just had some really high quotes for travel insurance to Malaysia/Singapore, in the region of £300 to £500 for three weeks. Last year and last week the pricing was £90 to £120, anyone else had any significant increases recently??
Ours is about to renew. Annual for world wide cover (4 people) was slightly less than last year - think it was just under £400. We only need 3 people on it this year which dropped it to under £300 - but also only need Europe which dropped it to under £100. This was with Admiral.
At those sort of prices are you better off looking at a packaged bank account which includes family ww travel insurance? E.g Nationwide is £18 per month (and includes some other things too).
Unless you are over 70 or have specific requirements I guess.
I had a quote for an annual joint policy worldwide excluding USA with reduced cover which was significantly more than last year with the same company. Only difference is that I will be 65 this year.
