Hey all.
Friend and I are going to travel to Northern France in
my 205 over a long weekend for no other reason than to live a bit of nostalgia and have some beers along the way.
I don't know France at all so looking for any recommendations please!

Indeed. If 'northern France' means 'close to Calais' then there's plenty of WW1/FWW sites to see. Even the smallest CWGC cemeteries are on Google Maps, so you can get it to route you across lots of interesting back lanes to find them.

If the 'northern France' means arriving in Le Havre, Caen, Cherbourg then there's the WW2/SWW Normandy sites aplenty too.

Tunnel or ferry to Calais, down the A26 to www.lacoupole-France.com V2 rocket base all underground, now a very interesting museum.

Just up the road St Omer, for a few beers. https://en.tourisme-saintomer.com/get-amazed/delic...

Then on to www.leblockhaus.com V1 site.

This is a very nice area just drive around and stop in a lovely village.

If you want to splash out? Stay here, it’s a lovely hotel with a very good restaurant. https://www.hostelleriesaintlouis.com
