Building work on hotel

We have booked a hotel we’ve always liked , it’s apparently having building work ( extra rooms ) I assume starting this month , ending end of may 25 , we’ve booked mid may 25 .
I’m guessing theyl just be finishing off ? painting , carpets etc , not sure if it’s relevant but there is a note about building work when booking the holiday
