I need a nice weekend bag for a couple of upcoming trips. Getting fed of up stupid suitcases on wheels, just want a smart looking (ideally leather) holdall I can take on board. Any recommendations/suggestions please?

Good point. I tend to work on the 56 x 36 x 23 size as that generally doesn't cause me any issues whatever airline I'm on.

I have an Osprey Farpoint 40, that pretty much ticks all the boxes for a carry on bag for me.

Tom Bihn is my go to. Aeronaut 45 and Techonaut 45 both fit your measurements almost exactly, but they're not leather.

I have 5 TB bags, and won't use anything else now.
