Recent experience of Singapore Airlines Business Class?

Hi, in a couple weeks we are flying Frankfurt- Singapore (B777-300ER) and Sinagpore-Frankfurt (A380-800) on Lufthansa (albeit it seems to be a Singapore Airlines operated plane). Any recent experience of this business class product- it will be 2 adults/2 kids so we have the 4 "middle" seats (1-2-1 config). It has been absolutely ages (10 years +) since I was last on Singapore Airlines business class- at the time it was very good- whats the recent view on it?

I flew in business on an A350 from SIN to MEL and also an A380 from SIN to LHR back in May. This was just after the turbulence incident.

Overall it's solid enough. Not particularly flashy but solid. Seat was comfortable enough. Service overall good. Food decent enough. It's not got the glitz of e.g. Qatar, but it's better than BA. I had some good flights. I recommend the Silver Kris Sling.

Lounge in Changi T3 gets busy but is quite a nice place. Allow plenty of time to make your flight - running through Changi airport after a couple of glasses champagne too many isn't much fun.

Thanks for that. I read somewhere they upgraded the business class seats A350 whereas the A380 might have the old biz class?
