Where to head - Italian Alps South/West of Turin in camperva

Currently on holiday in Slovakia with our campervan. Next stop was due to be the Dolomites but the forecast is looking pretty grim. So looking to keep the Italian theme, but head to the Alps west/south of Turin as the forecast is much better.

Any recommendations of places to visit? We like walking and have the dog with us. We'll look to both wild camp and use campsites. At the moment there are almost too many options!
