Anyone know of a package holiday operator where you can filter for rooms with interconnecting doors?

Want to book a holiday for 2 adults and 2 kids where we’re not all sleeping in the same room. Have looked at the main companies (Jet2, TUI etc) and you can’t search for this.

I think a lot of the time the hotels will book, but won’t guarantee adjoining rooms (one could go out of service etc)
This then means the package firms can’t guarantee
I’d love to know if there was a way to do it though, would make all inclusive family holidays so much easier !

Clubmed do both rooms with interconnecting doors and rooms with two separate bedrooms.

In my experience, whilst I don't know how to filter for it, a separate bedroom is quite common. Our last 2 holidays abroad were a 1 bedroom apartment where there was a separate bedroom (where the kids slept) and we slept in the living room. This was with Jet2.

Most of the time when booking two rooms on the same booking including kids I've found that the hotel will just allocate adjoining rooms with connecting door automatically.

As said above though, they cannot offer that as a guarantee on the booking as availability will affect what they can offer you at check-in time.

If it's a big concern then it's maybe a good idea to check in early as possible e.g. get a taxi from airport rather than taking the operator's transfer bus, for example.

It’s really important we have a private space - the kids aren’t mine, so it wouldn’t feel very appropriate otherwise.

I’m sure I can solve it by booking the flights, hotel and transfers independently, but it will be more hassle, will have less protection, and will inevitably cost more that way.

We have often found it difficult to do via package holiday operators, but some do have adjoining/family rooms as an option. Sometimes it's easier to find the hotel you want that has the room type that works for you, and then try and book it though Tui or similar. The only one I easily remember was Grecotel Corfu Imperial.

Sani also do family rooms at Sani Beach, and if you book directly with them they throw the transfer in too. So you'd only need flights independently (i think you can also book flights through them too, but we've always sorted out own out). We've always found booking Sani directly cheaper than via a package. And it is an amazing hotel!

I'm not sure how you can filter by it, although quite often a Jet2 holiday seems to come up for me with 2 rooms instead of 1. (kids 9 & 11)

We've just come back from the Cornelia Diamond in Turkey which had a great setup - We had a Garden Room which was sold as one room but was actually 2 rooms with a small connecting lobby.

If you limit it to 1 room under "number of rooms" and add all the people, it usually filters out all the 2 x double bedroom type options which leaves the connecting rooms, apartments, suites with a separate bedroom or two and so on

We have 4 kids and we do this to avoid 1 adult in each room with 2 kids
