Jersey recommendations

Jersey war tunnels, can get the bus direct to the door.
La Mare Wine Estate is quite pleasant for a visit. Again bus stops right outside. Nearby is the Devils Hole which has a pub near it, again bus stops right outside…
Locke’s Cafe does a mean long black.
We mostly just wandered around when I was there last week. We stayed between St Helier and St Aubin which allowed us to walk everywhere but as you can probably tell I’m a big fan of the bus network!
In St Aubin we ate at the Salty Dog which was pretty good. Heard good things about the Lazin Lizard but it wasn’t open on the days we were there. Had Le Braye cafe recommended to me but didn’t make it over to that side of the island.

Last time I was on the island was nearly 30 years ago....for a Stag Weekend (groom was from there) so can't remmebr much of it!!
Just back after a long weekend & first time Jersey. The War tunnels was interesting, Jersey Zoo also, St Helier itself was a bit disappointing if you are a shopping fan.
St Brelades Bay has a stunning beach & we ate at Oysterbox which was great and not too expensive. Gorey is worth a trip also. We had a car and just pottered around the island.

As others, the war tunnels.
Mont Orgueil Castle worth a visit if only for the views over some lovely houses.
The Boat House restaurant in St Aubin was good too.
We stayed in the Pom ‘dor on liberation square - nice but seems to be full old people (and i’m 55!), the Royal Yacht next door is probably a better bet - but no doubt more expensive.
Also got the bus to Portelet beach and walked over to the nearby gun emplacements and then walked back into st aubin for lunch at the aforementioned boat house.
Busses are a fixed price anywhere on the Island.
