Hello fellow travellers.

I want to hire a prestige car for three months each year and the prices are eye watering. For 10 day hire of a Aston Martin DB11 I'm looking at £12,000 (Inc VAT). Is that around the mark??? I'm based near Gatwick but happy to pay the expense for someone to drop it off then take it back later if I can get something nice further out.

Many thanks

I used Bespokes near Kings Cross for weekend hire of an e-type about 12 years ago and the price and service was excellent (the car was driven to and picked up from my home in Kent). Prices appear to be lower than what you've been quoted. Link for a DB11

How about one of those Supercar clubs? This might not work if you plan to use the car every day for 90 consecutive days.

Or, it might actually be cheaper to buy one (on finance) and pay for professional storage for 9 months of the year.

Oh yes that's better. Thanks wiggy001. I'll give them a call early next week.

Thanks omniflow, storing's a good idea but I'll probably want something different next year. I'm considering buying something perhaps on finance and asking the dealer to buy it back for a set price after three months. It's another option

OP why do you think it should be cheap?

Well I don't think it should be cheap and being an Aston Martin I wouldn't expect it to be. It just makes sense to get a good price rather than opt for the first figure given.
