Alternatives to Union Lido

After four successful visits to Union Lido in Italy we’re now looking for recommendations for other places to visit that will keep the kids (10 and under) equally occupied and happy. Would love to try Croatia but open to anywhere in Europe if it ticks the boxes (lots to do, on a beach/lake, lots of pools, good food options).

Any recommendations would be most welcome.
