I've just booked valet parking at t5, and it says that there is no drop-off charge, I'm assuming it is included in the fee I'm already paying, do I have to register my car for payment regardless of who is paying it or will the car parking people sort this?? I'm parking with Heathrow official parking btw. Thank you.

They'll sort it.

Just make sure you have you booking ref number when you leave as the system can sometimes throw a wobbly.

Thank you. It's about £40 more than parking in the meet and greet. Good start to our holiday.

Why don't you just do the Meet and Greet? It's almost the same thing - you drive into the car park, go to the Meet and Greet section, drop the car with keys, then walk straight to the terminal. The only difference is with valet is that you leave it in the drop off zone, which is marginally easier (but not £40 easier!).

I think you can change free of charge up to 2 hours prior iirc.

But valet will be fun anyway! smile

Is it a treat for yourself/both that you have never done before? If so, I get that.
After you have got it out of your system, just do Pod parking like the rest of us.
