How can this company be so bad?

I need to contact them but their website takes you around in circles.

Does anybody have a phone number or email address?

We have used Booking.com for over 10 years and find them to be very good.
However; a hotel that we had booked an overnight stay at was extremely disapointing, being smelly/ unclean and in a bad state of repair.
So I looked again at the Booking.com reviews (I always spend time to look at these before booking) and they were all good.
I then looked at Google reviews which were in line with what we were seeing.
So in future I will look at both and would advise others to do the same

I do similar. Booked a hotel in Nice recently good reviews on both sites. Then just before we went noticed Google saying about rooms not looking the same, rude staff and cockroaches. I nearly swapped hotels but decided the booking.com reviews were quite different.

Amazing hotel would stay again. Turned out there’s 3 best westerns and people were reviewing the wrong one on Google.

For accomodation, I usually find somewhere on booking.com but them book direct with the hotel itself.

You often get a better price if you ask, and perks like free parking or free breakfast for going direct.

Also you have someone to call if you need to ask questions.

I always try - but rarely does the hotel beat Booking.com (which is bizarre because the hotel obviously saves the agent commission)

I have used the company for many years but when they get it wrong they are a nightmare.

They also proudly state they price match. Has anybody tried it? I have - it was a nightmare (many hoops, lost emails, broken promises)

Indeed! I've turned up at a hotel without a booking and been offer the rack rate and '"sorry, we are unable to offer a discount" then sat in the reception and using the hotel's Wi-Fi got a much better price on booking.com.

Likewise. Charged near double as a walk in customer before they managed to find my Booking.com booking.

Same. I find this very peculiar.

I have literally said to the reception desk "I will just click confirm on booking now then" and they still haven't budged on their far higher walk in price. I can't understand why a hotel would do this, as they are obviously down once factoring commission.

Twice - successfully. If I remember correctly they just want a link to check the same price/ conditions and the refund was sorted.

Booked quite a few things on Booking without issue, one tip is always check both web and mobile app prices! sometimes you can save hundreds just by using the App as they do Mobile only pricing...

Used to use them but will no longer do so.

Booked a hotel with cancellation up to 6pm (as stated on the website).Wasn't sure if I needed to stay over so this suited my needs. At 5pm attempted to cancel and was told the hotel policy was 2pm not 6pm.

Tried to complain but got sent round in circles so will not entertain them anymore.
