As I’ve mentioned elsewhere we bought a Ferrari Portofino recently, and I decided to take the family to Paris in it this weekend. I wanted to show my Anglo-French children their capital at night, with the roof down, on a summer evening (I may have been listening to the Ballad of Lucy Jordan…)

When we looked at how early we could reasonably get my eldest out of primary school we realised Paris was a stretch, so looked at Normandy. Nowhere good was availabke, so we then looked at nice hotels in England, and after finding nothing that was good with children ended up booking Legoland Windsor.

I then decided that I’m not comfortable parking the Ferrari there, so we’re taking the Yaris.

Which brings me to my question. Can anyone recommend a decent Indian that can deliver to the hotel there?

I can’t help with Indian restaurants in the area but I understand that Sean Connery was partial to a bank holiday trip to Legoland, followed by a lovely lamb lunch in Windsor.

Nope, I tried a few times, but am not getting it.

Any chance of a clue?

It’s a song I really like, about a woman who realises that the life she has means she’d “never ride through Paris in a sports car with the warm wind in her hair.”

Oh. She didn’t mention Legoland in a Yaris followed by an Indian takeaway then? No style…

Which is sort of the point, family life saw a series of changes to the original plan and I’m hoping to at least enjoy a nice meal once the boys are asleep.

Gandhi at Maidenhead, are the best in my opinion near me. But 20 mins away from LegoLand..
If they cover that patch (and the food is still hot!) i’d recommend.

Thank you.
I think we’ve decided to eat out so will give it a try.
