Hire car prices in Europe (Cyprus more specifically)
Discussion
Hi all,
Last time we hired a car abroad was Spain in 2019 and we hired a Seat Leon for 113 Euros for a week.
We're going to Cyprus for a week in September and the cheapest I can find from a hire company I've heard of (via comparison sites) and decent insurance is a Fiesta-sized thing for £240.
Is that really what it costs nowadays?
Thanks!

Based on my previous experience of visiting Cyprus I would not expect the hire car experience (and price structure) to bear any resemblance to main land Europe!
Unless things have changed in the last 10 years or so, it's a world of aging Japanese imports as hire cars and not the endless fleet of shiny nearly new hatchbacks you would expect on the mainland.
