Monthly rentals in europe

Anyone have some websites for renting houses for a month at a time with monthly rates rather than daily rates that you get from a lot of sites?

We are looking at going to Portugal, Spain (Andalusia), the canaries, Italy, Bulgaria and Turkey and looking to keep rental costs as low as possible

You do a search on airbnb for monthly rates and some places offer substantial discounts, you can put in specific dates or just set a month or two to search if you're flexible.

If you put more than 30 days in on airbnb it will give you a monthly price if the vendor has enabled month by month discount.

Then just look for the cheapest. Some do offer quite large discounts especially if its off peak.

Another option is to look at trusted house sitters. We used to be members, not used it in a while but we have done long term sits on there of almost 3 months. Its free to stay (you pay a membership), which is a massive +ve. But you may have to do some minor "work" whilst sitting, such as gardening or looking after animals.

EU passports.

Thanks for the tip about Airbnb and house sitting. I'll have a look at that
