Currently here after a random bit of googling for a short half term break with my daughter…
Thoroughly recommended! Beautiful theme park with rides for all ages, very reasonable prices for entry and food etc. and just infinitely better than had I tried to book up Alton towers or similar! Staying in a Europarc site which is about a 39 min walk away which is basically a slightly more upmarket euro camp type place - also very very good. Just makes me realise that there is no good reason to not take a short roadtrip out to Europe! Anyone else been?

I went when I was a teen (quite a while ago) and remember enjoying it and I want to go back with my kids. I'm sure we stopped somewhere similar too. Europe has some great theme parks, Heidi Park in Germany always stands out from my memories. Our most recent family favourite is Energylandia in Poland, that was amazing at Halloween.

I’m a member of an Amsterdam mothers group on Facebook (don’t ask…) and it’s a very popular destination among the mothers.

Yep, did it last year as final stop on a Euro road trip before getting the Amsterdam to Newcastle ferry back home.
Stayed in the on site hotel, great place for kids and stress free for parents.
