I will be in central London on my own this evening between 5pm and 9:30 when I need to be in Soho. I can’t drink, I don’t fancy the cinema. Most of the museums will be closed and I don’t really want to go shopping.

What is there to do?

The Dare Skywalk at Spurs has some 17::30 tickets left tonight.

£45 but you get to mess around on the roof of a football stadium.

Go to a salsa class laugh

It'll kill time, but your mrs might not be happy about you dancing with other women.

No drinking is a real killer. There are absolutely stloads of amazing drinking venues smile You are really missing out!

My suggestions:

a) Browse our world class shops, including having a wander down places like the Burlington Arcade, Piccadilly Arcade, Carnaby Street, Bond Street.

b) Head over to JJ Fox and enjoy a fine cigar in their cigar lounge.

c) Go to the theatre.

d) Book The View from The Shard or the Sky Garden to get some epic photos.

e) Go to a Jazz Bar (and enjoy a non-alcoholic beverage).

f) Visit NQ64 in Soho and play loads of retro arcade games.

Go mug someone for their watch or a bit of stabbing of random people seem to be popular choices for an evenings entertainment from what I read in the media.

Yawn.

Cheers all,

My stabby days are behind me and I'm not into watches.

I think a Pizza then a trip to NQ64 might be the winner. Although I've just had instructions to visit a couple of shops so time might be against me doing anything too interesting.

Stroll up through Marylebone to Regent’s Park.

Walk around the park.

Stop for a cake at the cafe near the rose garden.

Up past grand mosque.

Primrose Hill (too early for sunset probably but you might get it).

Walk along the cut to Camden Market for some eats.

Tube back to Soho.

Not really for single players though, it's much more of a social venue than an actual sim experience.

I would like to suggest Empire casino and then either splash your winnings or drown your sorrows at platinum lace afterwards next door smile

I meet my mate in London fairly regular for lunch and usually get the last train up north that I can, whereas he gets back out to Surrey. I don't envy anyone who lives in London but it has to be the best city in the world for a wander around in the late afternoon and early evening by your self.

Just you and your thoughts, a new shop or cafe you've never visited, a whisky shop or posh outfitters. Sometimes I'll just jump on the underground for a couple of stops and take in what's around you.

It's a wonderful, wonderful city to lose yourself in for a few hours.

Well, I’ve started in Shoreditch with a slice of Pizza.

The weather is nice so I’ll wander around for a bit and see what I see. It would be nicer if I didn’t have to lug my laptop bag around.

Worth a look to see if you can grab a ticket for book of Mormon - I've never laughed so much, amazing show

Have a wander back down towards the city, nose round the royal exchange, up to St Pauls, head down the Strand towards theatreland, through Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, Carnaby and then to your intended destination. Stop for a coffee somewhere and sit outside and people watch if its not raining.
