San Sebastian - hotel with parking
Discussion
Lasala Plaza has valet parking
Sansebay has an underground car park reached via a lift.
Both offer sea view rooms overlooking the Concha beach and both are ideally located close to the old town. Lasala Plaza is a bit swankier, but Sansebay is really nice. We're staying there twice during our upcoming holiday - 3 nights at the start and then another 2 nights at the end.
Hotels in San Sebastian are not cheap, and prices can go absolutely mental during events like the film festival or a rugby cup final.

My car doesn’t fit in the Sansebay so I tend to park in the Kursaal car park which is clean and has good sized spaces and walk in from there, nearly all flat and surfaces good for rolling suitcases.
The Londre Anglettere has valet parking.
Incidentally the top floor apartment at the Sansebay is a good space to stay.

The Silken Amara Plaza has parking but is located just outside the city centre - a short, easy walk though.
As previously mentioned, the Kursaal car park is very good if you can't park at your actual hotel - similar to a Q Park here.
San Sebastian is fantastic!
This is where I always stay as it’s very easy access from the motorway and it’s underground safe parking . As previously mentioned, the Kursaal car park is very good if you can't park at your actual hotel - similar to a Q Park here.
San Sebastian is fantastic!
And as mentioned , a very pleasant stroll through a beautiful city to the beach and old town .
To be honest , if your looking for a posh hotel experience go elsewhere, San seb is all about being out on the streets and enjoying the experience , I’ve been going 20 odd years , we used to holiday there when we lived in France .
It’s a fantastic place to just wander around and take everything in and try everything. It’s the sort of place that there’s no place for anything bad ,if it was it wouldn’t last 20 mins .
The walk through town to get to the old centre and beach is worth half a day at least .

I sort of agree with the above. There are 2 things I want from a hotel in San Sebastian - A nice view from the room, and reasonable proximity to the old town. I've looked into all sorts of places over the years, starting with the Hotel Maria Christiana before our first visit. It's 5 Star, but the location isn't all that and it's VERY expensive. It's more or less the same with the Hotel Londres - the location is better, but the prices are very lumpy. It’s a fantastic place to just wander around and take everything in and try everything. You can stay somewhere without a view and save some money, but that's a question of personal preference. You can also stay somewhere with a view that's a long walk from the main reason why you're there - that's also a question of personal preference. Hotels are so expensive that it's not really the sort of place to use as a base for day trips. When you're there you want to enjoy being there - that's why a nice view is important to us.
