Parking at Kew Gardens

Plenty of free parking on the roads towards the tube station if you dont mind a modest walk and Brentford arent at home
Looks like Brentford are home to Man utd but not not kicking off til 8pm so probably ok.I lived and worked around there for 10 years and can confirm parking is a bit of a pain - if going early the Kew car park should be fine though.
If travelling later then parking at Ealing Broadway and getting the 65 bus is an option as the service is fairly frequent.

We'll be up there early before 10am to get some parking. I lived and worked around there for 10 years and can confirm parking is a bit of a pain - if going early the Kew car park should be fine though.

Just hope the weather behaves, Although being a Londoner I've not been to Kew before.
The nearest free off-street parking...
From the M4 side...Down the A205, over Kew Bridge then at the lights, turn left down Kew Green road then next left again. There's a few spaces down alongside the bridge embankment and on the left. Check it's not since moved into the congestion zone though? not sure. A lot of the local roads did I think?

Well we got some parking today on ferry lane but what a ball ache it was to walk round with a 3 year old. I think I'd try and get Just Park next time and go round to the other entrance.
Few expletives when arriving as a bloody "fun run" was happening from 830 with 2 million lycra clad runners all over the place and already in the park.
Luckily they all cleared off by 10 and just after opening.
Nice day out around Kew, difficult to see everything with a little man with short legs, I think we walked about 10 miles, the tree top walk was blddy wobbly!

I got there at 9.45 and parked in the car park, was fine then. Probably less fine 30 mins later.
£9 was as cheap as any just park you’ll find I think. We just took a scooter.
Yes, good value, travelling up the M3 and in to Kew I didn't fancy risking sitting in potential traffic but we could do later next time for sure.£9 was as cheap as any just park you’ll find I think. We just took a scooter.
Was that usually how busy it gets on an Easter? The Bluey thing was a Bain, I appreciate these venues doing this to keep kids interested but it was bedlam.

I’ve never been with a kid before tbh. I actually thought it wasn’t too bad. But then I’m used to London crowds at things. We only went for the Bluey thing - and it was a bit meh tbh. But there’s loads there other than that of course. Was that usually how busy it gets on an Easter? The main issue for me was the boat race which meant the crawl home to Clapham was long but decent weather at least. It’s a big place for small kids as you say.

I wondered this, im not sure if it will get a lot of coach trips full of pensioners and tourists during midweek!
I`m planning on a week day, I`ll take my chances I guess, a Monday or a Thursday. As far as parking is concerned, I`ve found there is all day parking at Sainsbury`s for £8.50 within a reasonable walk to Kew.
I`ve only ever been to London once, I`m dreading the traffic, cyclists, bus lanes and the amount of people.
Now I`m looking for some decent, sensibly priced accommodation.

And can you give a rough idea of arrival so I can watch you navigate the Chiswick roundabout on CCTV please?
