Simple question, we haven’t been for many years so thought we’d have a couple of days here before Easter. Any recommendations for a good quality central hotel with secure parking? ( and a good Indian restaurant nearby would be helpful please)

Either one of the mowgli restaurants are a great twist on Indian food .
Try maray if you want something really tasty and a bit different , both are on bold street where you can literally eat around the world .

Check if Liverpool are playing at home as it will make a massive difference to hotel prices

Is it cheaper when Everton are at home? Asking for a friend ... hehe

Mrs FTR and I usually book the Staybridge Suites when we go up to Liverpool (visiting family). It's very close to the Pullman, mentioned above. She likes to have the kitchen area and even cooks occasionally! The breakfast is a pretty basic buffet affair - just about ok, but it does have a (small) basement level car park, which can't be booked before arrival, and for which there is a charge.

If the car park is full, then you can park at the King's Dock multi-storey (like the Pullman). Price was the same as downstairs at the Staybridge last time we were there.

The area the Staybridge uses as its car park is actually shared by the EastZEast Indian restaurant mentioned by another poster - Mrs FTR and I tried it and found it to be really average and wouldn't bother with it again!!

YMMV

Yeah, hotels don't charge a lot more if Everton are at home, when Liverpool are at home prices can be 2-21/2 times dearer,
the demand is massive for home games since Klopp is leaving.

Good point, thank you. It’ll be a midweek trip but they could still be playing.
