Family with young kids - Short haul resort - Recommendations
Discussion
Looking to head away for a week in the sunshine in late June, looking for a short flight (less than 3 hours or close to 3 hours max) to a family friendly resort but ideally not some mega faceless complex (The last part seems to be the trickiest requirement to fulfil). Last year we went to Ekies in Halkidiki in Greece which we loved and met the criteria but thought it'd be nice to try somewhere different... Kids will be 3 and almost 1 when we go. No need for mega kids clubs or anything but the resort needs to be child/family friendly so we're not getting glared at whenever our kids inevitably raise their voices or bump into a sun lounger.
We don't want self catering as for this trip we want as much relaxation as we can (within the remit of parenting two young children) - Even choosing restaurants can be a task too many when you have a toddler and a baby. Please no judgement, I spent many years travelling extensively and 'properly' before I had kids, at present I just want (need) something very easy.
Any recommendations very much appreciated.

Take a look at Mark Warner - Lakatira in Kos specifically.
It may not be exactly what you're looking for, as there is a big focus on kids clubs, but it's very definitely focused on families with young kids. Things like kids tea at 5pm and stuff like that.
Unlike their place in Pria de Luz, Lakatira is on a gated and fenced in compound. We went there twice and loved it both times.

Thanks - Lakatira doesn't appear on the Mark Warner website unless i'm missing something? It may not be exactly what you're looking for, as there is a big focus on kids clubs, but it's very definitely focused on families with young kids. Things like kids tea at 5pm and stuff like that.

I've said this before on this forum (no, I'm not on commision), the only hotel I've ever been to a second time (for pleasure anyway) was this one once I had my son. The world's a big place and I'd like to see as much of it as possible, and wouldn't usually go back, but travelling with a toddler changed all that.

Went when he was One, and then again last year.

Budget permitting, the Iberostar Lanzarote Park in Playa Blanca is very good. Got a little-kids pool with a couple of gentle slides plus warm and cold adults pools, the breakfast buffet has a load of choice, some fresh-cooked (& the lunch / evening buffets are genuinely edible if you don't want the 20 min stroll to the resort centre), and it feels a cut-above most of the other non-AI hotels.
We've stayed in PB quite a lot with very-young kids (flying Jet-2 mainly - service is better), and whilst the Iberostar isn't as close to the centre as e.g. the H10/Mynd/Yaiza, it's a very nice mix of rooms/quality/facilities, and at most a few minutes walk from the best of the 'town' beaches (sheltered + sand). Plus the pushchair into town usually sent our kids to sleep so we could have a proper meal in peace.
