eSim for Canada

Depends if you want a ‘phone number’ so can make calls / texts as well. A lot of providers only give you a data connection.
Gophonebox.com provide a phone number, so you can call/text as well.
Using an esim like Airalo you 'keep' your main number active for Whatsapp etc, so calls on that are no issue as you are using data. I'm not sure if it still works for texts also as I never use text these days.Gophonebox.com provide a phone number, so you can call/text as well.

I was out there last summer. I looked at Airalo (previously used elsewhere) and it was actually cheaper to top up my EE account with roaming for a month so worth a check with your supplier.
EE recently changed their outside EU roaming cost. The Roam Further pass is now £25 a month. Removed as I have a Vodafone work sim in the same phone with a roam like home service. Airalo do offer a Canada-only esim? https://www.airalo.com/canada-esim

I get free roaming in a lot of countries including the US but my god do they throttle the data speeds. It’s just about enough to run Waze but I got fed up with it on my last trip and just paid for an Airalo sim. Exceptionally quick 5G the whole way across the US. For the sake of a tenner I’ll keep paying for the super fast data option now.djc206 said:

US I used Airalo, early last year so I’m not against it. Canada I just paid £10-15 top up to my EU roaming with EE and had no issues with speed or signal in Vancouver and Alaska. ecsrobin said:
