Travel insurance wording question...
Discussion
I'm trying to take out travel insurance for myself and the family for a trip later this year. I, the lead passenger have a medical condition that I've disclosed no problem. However, I'm concerned that as I go to take the policy out (with Admiral if relevant) it states the following...
"Aside from the conditions declared above, you have confirmed that no traveller covered by this policy:
Has been prescribed medication, received treatment, visited a doctor’s surgery or hospital about any medical conditions in the past 2 years."
On the comparison site it asks if any of the travellers have been to the doctors in the last 2 years, which I ticked as true as Mrs BigRig had a viral infection a few months ago, but going through to admiral it gives no options to declare that.
I'm just a bit concerned that if anything happens whilst away they could use this to wriggle out of the policy?
