April honeymoon in Thailand
Discussion
Good evening,
I have been looking at going away to Thailand around the 13th to 25th of April for our honeymoon. For various reasons it is the best time for us to be away.
Whilst we’ll probably spend a few days on the beach we tend to focus more on activities like scuba diving, quad bikes, jungle treks, city visits and mucking about on or in water.
Am I mad to be considering Thailand at the time of year?
Additionally; do you have any personal recommendations or experiences you’d like to share.
Thanks all.

April is a good month for traveling to Thailand because there is plenty of sun and clear skies, which makes it nice for visiting places and spending time on the beach. During this period, people celebrate the Thai New Year called Songkran around the middle of April; it's an enjoyable and lively occasion to experience. In April, Thailand's climate is usually hot and humid. Toward the end of April in Thailand, it often rains more compared to the beginning of the month. During April, the crowds in Thailand are moderate. It's important to know about the air quality; from February to April there is high pollution in the air, particularly in northern areas. However, rain towards the end of April might help clear away this pollution. Best to bring N95 masks, especially during smog.
