Corfu to Paxos - what to book and when
Discussion
Next summer we're going to Corfu (where we've been before) but also want to take a week in Paxos, which is accessed by Ferry only. We want a direct ferry, which I think take about an hour.
What I don't know, is how far in advance I need to get the ferry booked. We'll take the first week in Corfu, but I don't know if that's soon enough to be certain of getting one.
Has anyone done this trip?

I did this trip late September 2023, so very much end of season. Outbound Hydrofoil was cancelled so we were automatically put on the next available Hydrofoil. Return Hydrofoil was cancelled so we were automatically put on the next ferry. Didn’t matter to us, we made connecting flights etc, but worth factoring in some time to spare. I would expect in high season all services will be running flat out, but it does get busy, so worth booking early. Paxos and it’s people are lovely. Enjoy!
We went to Paxos about 15 years ago. Flew into Corfu, got a bus (or possibly a taxi) into Corfu town, bought tickets for the Hydrofoil, hung around the port in a bar for a couple of hours, took the Hydrofoil to Paxos. At the time we had school age kids, so it would have been during the school holidays.
It didn't even occur to me to pre-book the Hydrofoil.
