Luxurious hotel near BKK airport

Any tips for a hotel near Suvarnabhumi airport? Arriving mid afternoon from Trat and then flying out midday to UK, so doesn't have to be on the airport doorstep. Some thing flash / quality, with a good restaurant, or one near by. Nice way to end the holiday.

Looked at the Novatel at the airport but £170 Inc taxes for a hotel that gets a lot of "ok but tired " reviews put me off. Don't mind spending that but in Bangkok I expect excellence for that price when I can stay somewhere very clean for £30.

I have not stayed but it looks close and gets ok reviews?

Suvarnabhumi Suites. Everyone says the roof top bar is excellent, loads of local restaurants and bars, £43 inc 2-way airport xfers and breakkie.
