Hi all

Had the journey from hell yesterday, and wondered what may possibly be paid out to ease the pain!

The three of us (me wife and toddler) got a flight from split to Amsterdam. On arrival at Amsterdam we had a sms to say the connecting flight to Bristol was cancelled. We were rebooked onto the next flight which was six hours later than the original one. Four hours later, this one was also cancelled. We were then rebooked onto a Manchester one which did depart. We then had to get a taxi through the snow back to Bristol airport. Arriving home 4am this morning instead of the planned 5pm yesterday.

They’ve said they’ll reimburse the taxi (£400!), but just asking if anyone knows what else they may cough up.

Thanks in advance

Each airline usually has a claims link to follow.

https://www.klm.co.uk/information/refund-compensat...

The link above is for KLM. They have a specifiied period to settle you claim then you can escalate to another level the following is a useful guide.
