Can anyone confirm if I book an economy flex ticket it says 30kg baggage - does not specify checked or cabin.
However it then says 7kg carry on for a total of 2 bags.

So is that a 30kg checked bag and a 7kg.

Or is it 23kg checked and a 7 kg cabin?

The saver economy fare says 25kg.

Which makes it even more confusing.

If you go on their website I think it tells you.

We flew with them in February and the ticket said 40kg but it wasn't clear if this had to be one item or whether it could be split into two. We ended up emailing them just to be on the safe side.

Its not clear on the website if the carry on is part of the headline allowance.

I am just trying to weigh up the cost benefits of flex over saver.

Its working out about £300 more to go flex.

But if we get 30kg checked baggage then I will prob go with it.

But if its 23kg then I wont.

IYSWIM.

That does sound confusing! I have been looking at flights recently and emirates are incredibly expensive these days. I guess they are promoting themselves as the top airline and have adjusted their prices to suite. Shame.

It's 30kg checked baggage with Flex, The cabin luggage is 7kg. So in theory you could take a total of 37kg with you, but not more than 7kg in the cabin, or 30kg in the hold.
