UK to Lofoten

Thinking about going to Lofoten from the UK, towards the end of next year, and wondered what route(s) you took to get there.

Flights / car hire etc.

Any experience will be greatly appreciated

We drove there in our motorhome. Eurotunnel, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Denmark then up through Sweden, turn left at Kiruna and you'll end up in Narvik.

Not sure this is what you're after, but you asked what we did

It takes a long time to get anywhere by road in Norway, especially south to north. Don't be too optimistic with how much distance you can cover in a day.

Also, 'towards the end of next year' be ready for snow and ice. I certainly wouldn't want to be driving in winter in Norway with my 'above average brit' level of winter driving experience.
