Usually do an annual family trip to Dubai, and have always booked (at least just the hotel) through “Best At Travel”. Up until recently their rates seemed pretty good. Can anyone recommend any other travel agents worth trying? (Preferred property is Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf).

TIA

If you know exactly what you want and are looking to secure it at the best price, then any of the agencies owned by DNATA are a good shout. Travel Republic etc.

Emirates Holidays also have some great rates.

Jumierah have plenty of flash sales too so make sure you’re signed up for their emails / rewards club.

Avoid Destination2, they stitched us up a couple of years ago.

I always try and do Jumeriah, mainly for access to all the restaurants in their different hotels / souk and the Wadi

Do they ever have any particularly good deals on family rooms at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel?

Reasonable as a family of 4, adding the 5th kid takes it from £4/5k to £9k as 2 rooms. Mrs isn't up for leaving one at home...

Sometime it's possible to get the odd 'exception' from Jumeriah if we ask the right people.

Leaving one at home definitely easier and more cost effective (depending on what they get up to at home I guess!).

Just depends on the dates you're looking at and how keen they are to fill the rooms.

Don't know about Jumeirah specifically but I've used Kenwood Travel for Dubai (and several other places) before and been happy.

I have used kenwoodtravel for a number of years, but they were just not as competitive this year. Although the poster above days avoid destination 2, I went with them. Better deal and a few hundred £ cheaper, staying at Mina A Salam. Destination 2, get a lot of positive reviews also.
