Gatwick North Terminal - best place for breakfast?
Discussion
We're off to Crete on Thursday, and as per tradition we will be starting the holiday with a boozy(ish) breakfast at the airport. Gatwick was a bit dodgy last year, with the best option being Wagamama's, but this year it looks like there are 2, possibly 3 new options.
The Breakfast Club
Juniper
Sonoma
I'm a big fan of the Breakfast Club, specifically their Sausage Bap. However, this doesn't seem to be on the menu at Gatwick. Their Orange Juice is also excellent.
Does anyone have any recommendations / bad experiences of any of the 3 above mentioned places. Quality of the sausages is important to me, as is the quality and cooking of the bacon (sausage cooking is less critical IMO)
We like to make sure we're at the airport in good time, get through security and then have a decent amount of time to chill out. I know others prefer to do it differently, but this works for us and we will continue to do it.

We went to Sonoma before flying out, its a bearable, busy (was about 11.00am) Californian/tex mex themed restaurant with a quick turnover. I had a pint of Camden Hells and we shared a big plate of nachos which was OK. They were serving decent looking cooked breakfast.
You might guess i wasnt blown away, but it was accrptable as airport restos go.

Every time we fly from North Terminal we stay at the Premier Inn next to the terminal. Their eat as much as you like breakfast is superb value. Also its more relaxed and quieter than inside the terminal.
Well worth the walk across the road.
It may well be, but it totally defeats the object of the exercise. Before I sit down and start to chill out, I want to be through security. I want all of the variables dealt with, my belt back on, my shoes tied, the walking time to the gate known. Well worth the walk across the road.
