Turkey in October, tips?

Mrs H67 has booked the pair of us on a 10 day all inclusive trip to Icmeler in a couple of weeks time.
I plan on spending most of the time horizontal but for the odd occasion when upright I`m wondering if the PH massive has got any pointers on any trade secrets, things to do, things to avoid, places to go or any other useful nuggets of info..... TIA.

Get a boat round to Turunc - it's nice to have lunch/drinks/dinner by the beach there.
Selam restaurant in Icmeler itself is excellent.
The walk from Icmeler to Marmaris is pleasant but it can still be quite warm in October - you can also get a Dolmus if you feel brave. When in Marmaris, have some drinks at the Castle Cafe Bar for great views of the marina. There are lots of other bars & restaurants around the marina itself and we had a lovely meal at Dede.
I hope you're not staying at the Orka Lotus Beach hotel as it's rubbish.

When in Marmaris, have some drinks at the Castle Cafe Bar for great views of the marina. There are lots of other bars & restaurants around the marina itself and we had a lovely meal at Dede.
