Anyone been to Split?

Currently sat in the sun(ish) at Milna, Brac island. Split is an hour away by Ferry and it’s our last day tomorrow.
Is it worth going to?
Looking at timetables it would be a 0805 ferry to Split and either 1430 or 2030 return.
I have read that there may inly be an hour or twos worth of things to see so concerned we will be spending 3-4 hrs with little to do whereas we could of stayed at our very nice hotel and village.
Any thoughts invited, and thanks for reading.

Yes a few years ago, there’s a big hill to walk up (and very nice views tbf) and then the main town/strip down on the waterfront. I’m sure it could offer you a lovely lunch and drinks but didn’t feel like there was much else.
Personally if you’re happy on Brac I’d be staying there or look up another day trip - have you already been to Hvar?

Going home Thursday so only have time for one trip. Going to head into Split as we would only wonder in the future what we had missed.

Well aren’t i full of disappointment!
2 mins ago have been told the Catamaran has been cancelled due to bad weather. May be able to get on the later one, i think around 4ish if better.
And worse than that both those cars got sold!
The red Europa because the ex wife hated it, and the blue one was changed for a 1.6 s3 which I couldn’t stand so got sold for a mini coupe s!

Ah that’s bad luck. The weather has been interesting the last day or two here! If you’re desperate to go, the small charter boats and car ferries will travel still. Shame about the cars too! I’ve got through 3 Elise’s and a couple of evoras over the years. Had an FE Elise on order but then cancelled it. Maybe will go back to a lotus next year…
