Anyone flying to Cyprus this weekend?

I’ve just had a call from my brother who’s landed at Larnaca airport about to start two weeks in the sun. Unfortunately he’s left his driving licence on his desk at home. He’s prepaid a fortnight’s car hire but obviously they won’t release him any car without physically seeing his licence.
I’ve googled overnight mail services but as it’s the weekend I’m getting three or four day delivery schedules.
Does anybody know of any quicker services than UPS, FedEx or Royal Mail? Failing that is anybody flying to Cyprus tomorrow or Sunday who could take my brother’s driving licence and he’ll meet them at the airport? Not sure if I could just turn up to an airport and give his licence to a pilot. I’m open to suggestions.

Try sending him a picture of his license (both sides), many car hire places just want a printed copy for records, so depending on the person he is dealing with, that could be worth trying!

Tried that! Apparently they need the physical licence for scanning, also it’s a requirement to have it if the police wish to see it.

We did this early this year for Lanzarote.

Tried a few hire places before we found one that would look the other way and just use the photo we provided.

Might be an option.

They did charge us more for the privilege but that was our fault so took it on the chin.
