£500pp in August - is this possible?

We will (hopefully) be having a proper sunshine/beach holiday in October or November but I would like us to go away somewhere in August. This could be anywhere but ideally somewhere abroad (the further the better) and somewhere sunny, for between 4 - 7 days. It needs to be B&B as a minimum and Tripadvisor 4-star or above

Although I'd like somewhere abroad Scotland/Ireland would be fine.

Is this possible or just wishful thinking on my part?

Beziers in southern France is cheap with Ryanair. About £160 return in August.

I feel like if you get hunting on air bnb and for cheap accommodation and go somewhere not too far you might be able to but I feel like august is the most expensive time to go for flights etc with it being school holidays always such an expensive time to go. Love holidays might do package holidays cheaper than jet2 and TUI.

Have a look on loveholidays.com, I find it's the easier place to find a cheap deal. It allows you to put a lot of wildcards in the searches.

I'd recommend Greece - 7 nights self catering.
Try Olympic Holidays. I plugged in a random August date, sorted from cheapest first and got several hits under £500pp.
Corfu, Rhodes, etc.
