Where in Calais for wine
Discussion
For drinkable €5 Bordeaux, Carrefour at Eurocité
For better quality wines, Calais Vins; they will sign you up for the tax reclaim scheme if you don’t already have that. Just scan into the machine at the tunnel terminal and the refund comes through in a few days
There’s also now a Philippe Olivier cheese shop at Calais Vins, well worth a visit
There’s also a decent selection at Terre de Boissons at EuroCité, lower floor near the restaurants, not the very cheapest but worth a look if you’re doing Carrefour

Assuming you’re intending to bring back to the UK, the limit is 24 bottles
No limit for personal use ( link )Edited by mikef on Friday 16th June 22:54

I wouldn’t let the limit bother you too much. The border people aren’t resourced for it and couldn’t care less.
