Bit of a long shot but any recommendations for a hotel on Mull? We’re planning a road trip up the west coast so thought it would be good to have a look.

I've never found a good one... but haven't been there for a few years, so look for new / refurbished if I were you.

Stayed here for 2 nights on the way to Skye. In 2018

Was Lovely.

Not far from the best seafood restaurant in Scotland.

No pets, so no good. Shame... looks nice.

Not hotel info but I recommend 3 Mull things. There is a bird of prey centre that we found fantastic. Wings over Mull. The trip to Fingals cave is unforgettable. On Iona, 40 kings of Scotland are buried at a slight angle so they can watch over their native land. Spiritual.

Stayed here a few years ago, but just looked up site and seems they have just sold up.

New owners have re branded as Roslyn House, can comment on how it is now but may be of interest.

Edited: Just had a look and sounds as though they are going through a refurbishment so may not be suitable or ideal.

Thanks for all the input. My brother lives in St Andrew’s and he’s sounding out some of the locals who do the Isle of Mull rally.

Stayed here a couple of years back on a tour

Quirky with planes landing directly in front of it, nice beer garden to watch them with lovely views

Had a great steak in the restaurant too

I was going to suggest the same place.
Admittedly I've never stayed there but have flown in for food often enough. It always seems fairly busy, the food is great, there's always locals in the place and the owners go out of their way to be as helpful and friendly as possible.

Yep great atmosphere when we were there and delicious food

Lots flying in for a pint and dinner and there was a bunch of lads who’d flown over from Ireland to drink the place dry

Rooms are bit quirky, like log cabins

I’d definitely go back

Cheers, that looks great. I think we’ll give it a go for a couple of nights.

Glengorm Castle might be worth a look.

Or Western Isles Hotel, in upper Tobermory.
