Got a short weekend available & reasonable flights to Santander.

Is it worth visiting or is it just another ferry port type city?!

Bank branches are closing every few months in our town so I would advise to go to your local branch ASAP before it closes. Everything seems to be online these days.

Might need to make an appointment first as usually won’t see you otherwise.
There are other banks available too.

Be careful! There's alot to take into account and very little interest at the moment

Where do you live that you have to fly to your branch?

I’ve got one on my high street and it’s very nice and all but a weekend there may be pushing it.

Or there's a Nationwide with a hole in the wall. Just past the chicken shop wink

I can confirm that Santander is lovely for a short weekend.

Not too much to do but if you get good weather, there's a very nice coastal walk, a nice 'old town' that isn't that old. And some lovely beaches.

Nice Michelin star restaurant on the beach too.... really reasonably priced too.

Few banks too.
