Nice Spanish town in Tenerife

As an extra to my hire care question elsewhere, I wondered if anyone has any recommendations for a more local town for me to 'live in' for a month over this Christmas in Tenerife.

Be nice to be able to walk to a bar, cafe and food shops but also be able to park a car so I can explore and hike.

I want to be forced to use my Spanish that I have been learning this past year and a half.

I'll be looking for an Air BnB.

Is that La Caleta on the east coast, the tiny place or the one near Adeje?

La caleta is nice bit further along from costa adeje, lovely walk as well,

las galletas is a nice village as well, lovely frnch bistro/cafe there,

taganana for the cliffs,

half the fun is going to find your own
