Valletta

As a place not been to before, have booked into here....

Seems to be surrounded by some quality resturants. Anyone have any hidden gems they want to share ?
Only got 4 nights booked so would like to get the most out of it.

Cheers

I have not been but it’s one of those places that I think would be very interesting and not “hard work”.

Fabulous place don’t forget to have a drink where Oliver Reed had his pint “the pub”

There are two Carravagio's in St.Johns Chruch. A must in my opinion.

Breathtaking harbour and worth hopping over from one side to the other via small boat to walk around the old cities

Pastizzis at Caffe Cordina are a must.

It is a fantastic city and very compact so you can walk everywhere easily enough.

Haven't been to Valetta since 1975, what's Strait Street like these days? AKA The Gut

Visited in October last year, thought Valletta was a beautiful place but I also had a car so saw a lot of the island as well as visiting Gozo. Special place.

Gozo is lovely and tranquil. Had the pleasure of seeing the Azure window when I went which is sadly no longer there.

Gozo today on the Fast ferry. Top tip. Book club class for a couple of extra euros. Avoid the catle class.
Whole deck to our selves.
