European Football Weekend
Discussion
I would like to take Child 1 (12) to see a football match in a European city next February half term. I was thinking Madrid, Milan, Munich etc so that there are things to do outside of the football and with Milan and Madrid we have double the chance of seeing a game!
There seems to be lots of companies that offer the tickets but it seems to be varied on whether they actually have them, or rely on picking them up from third parties. I want to get it booked up ASAP (use a BA companion voucher expires in true PH style).
Anyone with any experiences or reccomendations?

I'm a regular at Lazio, but have been to see Madrid play a few times.
As long as your not trying to get tickets to El Clasico just get them directly from the club.
For example Lazio tickets you can get on Via Gogo for 70 euros + but in reality I usually pay around 30 euros from the club.

I've done a few. Germany, Italy, France, Sweden, Spain, Poland and Czech Republic.
Some were local derbies and some with the team I support. I've always got tickets by going to the grounds ticket office on the day before or the morning of the game. None were champions league just league games for that particular country.
The Czech derby between Slavia and Sparta was quite lively!

Thanks for the tips. I've booked flights to Madrid for a weekend in February so hopefully we have a decent chance of getting a ticket for either Real or Atletico.
I did speak to Gulliver's Sports Travel yesterday and they have had tickets available for every home game in Madrid so I might end up booking with them and paying the premium for knowing that I have something sorted.
