hi all,

We are looking at a road trip later this year (me, the Mrs and a toddler) - late Summer / early Autumn time.

Currently considering the best route from Imjuiden, Netherlands to Titisee Germany.

Rest of the plan is to stay in Titisee for a few nights, Lucerne, Brienz, Strasbourg then back to Imjuiden via Cologne.

I'd be really grateful for any thoughts on where to stop to split the journey between Imjuiden and Titisee (probably looking to split driving across 3 days for this leg) - also grateful for any other thoughts on routes / things to see and do.

thanks in anticipation

I've just replied to your other topic.

You could stop overnight in the South of Limburg, just before going across the border. It's very touristy and Maastricht (our capital), Vaals, and Valkenburg are all lovely places.

I've done Luxembourg during my European road trip last year, there's a few pictures in my thread about that :

Baden-Baden (also part of that trip) is also along that route.

Thank you so much! Definitely love the recommendation at Interlaken and will check out some of the other passes. We did Grimsel and Furka a few years go. Slightly different now in a Skoda Karoq and not in a Merc C250... but the little one will love it (as will me and the Mrs)
